On the Porsche 986 / 996, one of the main causes of failure is water damage to the unit. 

In the case of water damage, sometimes individual functions fail, but often the entire device.

If the car can still be started with the device and only individual functions such as the central locking have failed, then we can try to repair this damage.

If the damage cannot be repaired or the car can no longer be started with the device, then very often there is still the possibility of at least reading out the coding from the old device in order to then code a new device with the same part number.

The new device would then work with the old keys in your car. Just like the old unit before the water damage.

A second quite common error is the failure of the radio keys, this error we currently can not fix / not test.
